The school is located in the picturesque township of Batchelor, 90kms south of Darwin which is the gateway to the Litchfield National Park.
Batchelor Area School was established in 1953 and services the Coomalie region which includes Adelaide River, Tortilla Flats, Eva Valley, Litchfield and the Lake Bennett/Acacia areas.
Batchelor Area School has an enrolment of approximately 180 students.
